I am studying the release  of carbon dioxide through the sea floor. This is particularly relevant for quantifying the impacts of a leak from a carbon capture and storage facility. Given the level of political and industrial interest in this emerging technology it is important that as many its environmental implications are understood as possible in advance of its initiation.
