Researching how protozoan grazers affect algal strains, and how to eliminate them from algae. Keeping a stable collection of ciliates and growing different algae for experiments.
Research involvement
I work full time on the following project:
I am a member of the Department of Microbial and Molecular Biology and make much use of the Culture Collection of Algae and Protozoa.
