Overview

We warmly welcome international and exchange students

We have a significant number of non-EU staff and students from over 20 countries at the Institute.

We are happy to accept exchange students from a university outside the UK - for example on an Erasmus programme. If you are interested to explore this option, please go to the 'exchange' tab.

If you are an international student from outside the European Union wishing to study a course at SAMS (short courses, undergraduate or postgraduate), please go to the 'international' tab.

For citizens from EU countries the application process for studying at SAMS are very similar to a UK student application. Therefore please go to the relevant course pages and follow links from there.

Oban is a small town of only 8,000 inhabitants, and two to three hours journey from larger cities such as Glasgow, Stirling, Edinburgh and Inverness. Despite its great appeal for tourists in the summer months, Oban provides a very clean and safe environment with very little crime.   more...
