profile

Head of Instrumentation

My interests lie in tidal dynamics, extreme statistics, scientific moorings, cruise based observations and using AUVs to measure the ocean. More on our capabilities to make smart observations...

I am a member of the Department of Physics, Sea Ice and Technology and a prolific user of the research vessels at the Scottish Marine Institute and elsewhere.
