- Investigate oil production and profile in the diatom Phaeodactylum tricornutum under different growth conditions
- Determine and evaluate suitable housekeeping genes for use in lipid synthesis gene expression work in Phaeodactylum tricornutum
- Development of gene probes for the selection of microalgal strains for oil production potential
